Chicago has so much to offer, but I want to start of with my personal top 5 most instagrammable spots in the city that you should not miss when visiting Chicago. Those spots are perfect to take photos at and are an eye catcher for a reason.

View from the bridge next to the Wrigley Building

I am definitely all about the views and this one is probably my favorite one in River North, at least from skyline and river perspective. I absolutely adore how the light is touching the skyscrapers. I would suggest to catch the view in the morning, right after sunrise. You will not be disappointed.

The Bean at the Millenium Park

The Bean is definitely a must when visiting Chicago and also a must, because it is a Chicago landmark and really picturesque. It is impossible to take a bad photo of the bean, or so called Cloud Gate.

You can take shots from the different perspectives and it will always look good, you really cant co wrong. My personal favorite angle is facing the bean with the skyscrapers in the background. If you want to take pics at the bean without people you really need to be there early, otherwise it is impossible. I would suggest 6 am during summer time.

The Skydeck

The views from the Skydeck are truly incredible and something that you do not see every day. The Skydeck has 4 glass boxes that are 1,353 feet above ground. Yup, pretty high, so if you are afraid of heights , I am not sure you will feel so comfortable here. But I am telling you, the views are so worth it. The tickets are 25 dollars, and you can buy day or night tickets. I only went in the morning and loved it, but I bet the views at night are also worth it.

Be aware that you only have 60 sec in the box to take photo there, so make sure to already set up the camera and think about the angle in advance.

Riverwalk views

The Riverwalk in Chicago one of my personal highlights, I love walking to work along the Riverwalk. the water is so turquoise and looks incredible in the morning light. The views between the Wabash and State Bridges are my favorites, but honestly they are all nice. I also like the views from the staircase at the DuSalbe Bridge.

Location: Riverwalk

North Avenue Beach Skyline View

I love spending summer nights at the North Avenue Beach, and for me it is the best skyline view that you could get in Chicago. When the water is calm, the reflection of the skyline in the water is mind blowing. I love the morning hours and the light during sunset.
