If you want to relax a true desert oasis in California, you should book your stay at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa. This place has everything you need to fully unwind and have a wonderful relaxing time. We stayed at the Renaissance over the weekend and had such a lovely time. The hotel has multiple restaurant options and is also a great place for a family vacation because it offers a variety of activities for kids. So trust me, they wont get bored at the Renaissance Esmeralda.

Location

The Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa is located in the Greater Palm Spring area, so you can visit and enjoy this stunning hotel all year long. It will always be sunny and warm. During the summer months it can get really warm but you can just cool down in the pool. The hotel is surrounded by astonishing mountain views and palm trees as far as the eye can see. An airport is also close by in case you decide to fly. PSP is located in Palm Springs and is only 15.5 miles away from the property.

Rooms

We had the pleasure to stay in the Pool View King Guest Room and loved it. All rooms feature artful elements inspired by mid-century architecture and have a really unique modern desert vibe to it. I personally loved the art in our room. Both, room and bathroom are extremely spacious and so is the balcony that offers a wonderful view over the pool landscape and the valley! If you want a little bit more luxury you can also book one of the suites at the Renaissance Esmeralda.

Dine Options

At the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa you have several great dining options that are all really good. Enjoy a wonderful breakfast at the CAVA where you can choose to either have a buffet style breakfast or order a la carte. Have dinner at The Place and sip delicious cocktails and have some tacos or a yummy poke bowl. While relaxing at the pool you can pamper yourself with tasty cocktails and some comfort food like pizza and fries! There are really options for everyone!

CAVA

The breakfast at CAVA was so good! We ordered delicious pancakes, an avocado toast and an acai bowl and everything was great! My favorite was the avocado toast and the smoothie bowl but the pancake was also a good choice. Honestly, you cant go wrong at this place. The restaurant has outdoor and indoor seating. We had a table outdoors with the pleasant view over the pool and the mountains. What I really liked at the CAVA is that you can choose whether to have a buffet style breakfast or an a la carte styled breakfast. If you are a big eater, you cant go wrong with the buffet but if you are like me and cant eat that much, a la carte is the better choice.

The Place

You can end a wonderful day of sightseeing of golf with a sip of cocktail and some comfort food at the lounge style restaurant The Place. Choose a seat at the bar, one of the couches or a table and enjoy a delicious meal! The menu has a variety of options from tacos, pizza, to pasta and steak. And even has vegetarian options as well! We had fish tacos, a cauliflower steak, some waffle fries, ahi poke and a churro pudding!

Common Spaces: Pool, Golf and Grounds

Relax at one of massive pool or at one of the jacuzzis at the hotel. The views around the pool are insanely beautiful with Coachella valley surrounding the hotel. You can also book a cabana for the whole day and have more private experience and service. In case you want to relax even more check out the spa and book a facial or massage. All the golf lovers will not be disappointed either, because Renaissance Esmeralda Resort and Spa has huge golf course that they can enjoy!

Activities

Trust me when I say you wont get bored at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort and Spa. From relaxing and swimming at the resort-style pool, to enjoying lunch and drinks at the H20 Pool Bar and playing outdoor games like cornhole or ping pong. You can also book a golf class or spa treatment. If you are in the mood for some day trips you can visit Joshua Tree National Park or visit the town of Indian Wells or Palm Springs! I am sure you will have a wonderful time at this resort!
