Situated along the Wailea Beach, The Ritz-Carlton in Maui boasts an enviable location that epitomizes the beauty of the Hawaiian Islands. Guests are treated to stunning ocean views, surrounded by lush tropical landscapes that create a serene and exclusive atmosphere. The convenience of being just a short drive away from Maui’s main attractions adds to the allure of this prime location. From the airport, it is about an hour drive to the hotel. We highly recommend booking a car on the island, especially if you want to explore the island beyond the hotel. Book your rental car here!

We stayed in a Garden View Suite and loved the spacious suite which was 900sqft/81sqm. No matter which room type you choose, every accommodation at The Ritz-Carlton, Maui, is meticulously designed to reflect the essence of Hawaiian luxury. From plush furnishings to state-of-the-art technology, each room promises an unforgettable stay in this tropical paradise.
Dining
The culinary experiences at The Ritz-Carlton, Maui, are nothing short of extraordinary. With multiple dining options on the property, guests can indulge in a variety of cuisines crafted with the finest local ingredients.
Banyan Tree
Bask in the elegant ambiance of the Banyan Tree restaurant, where Pacific Rim-inspired dishes take center stage. Not only did this restaurant stand out because of the ambiance and service, but the dishes were all to die for.

For a more casual atmosphere, the Burger Shack offers delicious burgers and refreshing cocktails and milkshakes right at the beach. If you love oceanfront dining, the Burger Shack might be your favorite spot.

Ulana Terrace
Breakfast is served at the Ulana Terrace and we personally loved the views that the restaurant had to offer. Perched with a captivating view of the gardens, pool, and ocean, the restaurant offers a diverse menu showcasing both traditional and local favorites. Truly the best way to start your day on a vacation.

Alaloa Lounge
Chill vibes, stunning ocean views, and vibrant Kapalua sunsets set the stage for a laid-back dining experience at the Alaloa Lounge. Enjoy live entertainment while digging into light bites, appetizers, and sipping on specialty cocktails and beers.

‘Olu Cafe
For everyone who loves to relax by the pool, ‘Olu Cafe is perfect. Its located right by the pool and you can either take a seat and enjoy cocktails and lunch bites at the restaurant overlooking the ocean, or order directly to your chair or cabana by the pool – your choice!

Common Spaces: Pool, Beach, Fitness Center and Spa
The common spaces at The Ritz-Carlton, Maui, are a harmonious blend of opulence and comfort. The lobby welcomes guests with its grandeur, featuring traditional Hawaiian artwork and architecture. The expansive pool areas are adorned with lush gardens and offer a tranquil oasis for relaxation. Whether you prefer to unwind in a cabana or take a leisurely stroll through the meticulously landscaped grounds, the common spaces reflect the hotel’s commitment to providing an immersive and rejuvenating experience. The Ritz Carlton in Maui also has a hotel beach that is only a 5-minute walk from the pool. We highly recommend watching the sunset there as it’s magical! Another incredible viewpoint that is only about a 10-minute walk from the hotel is the Makaluapuna Point which offers views of the coast and crashing waves!

Iao Valley
Another incredible spot is the Iao Valley. Reservations are required to access the Iao Valley and to see the Needle.
Waihee Ridge Trail
We have not done the trail but it is on my list for next time!

The most beautiful bamboo hike that leads to a gorgeous waterfall.
